Park: Gallup Park (Ann Arbor, Michigan).
Weather: Partly Cloudy, low-80's.

I've went to the park with the pups every day -- I've just been bad at updating. :)

The last two days have been pretty warm! This has both an advantage and disadvantage: Advantage: I get tan just walking my dogs! Disadvantage: The dogs don't want to walk nearly as far as they normally do.

I'm thinking about buying a bike today or tomorrow. It'd be good to have around the city for transportation and awesome to take to the park. I'm stoked.

Sara and I took the dogs (hers, also) to the very packed park!

I found myself getting rather annoyed at Zoe who insisted on walking too close to people and chasing after bike's and a dude in a wheelchair. I ended up pulling her most of the time. Oliver, on the hand, was perfect. He even made friend's with a cute little asian girl (around 2 years old).

We walked them down much of a trail and then decided to drop them off at her house so we could enjoy some R&R. So, we rented a canoe and explored the inner areas of the park. It was beautiful and relaxing. Somewhere in the near distance, someone was playing a drum -- the repetition resembled the sound of a beating heart.

I'm kind of in the mood to go camping...which is -so- not my style!

Weather: Sunny, lower 60's.

This is actually a post for yesterday, as going to the park didn't quite fit into my schedule today.

My girlfriend and I noticed a Red-bellied Woodpecker pecking into a large old tree. It's interested that they call the Red-bellied Woodpecker by that name as it doesn't have a red belly at all! It does, on the other hand, have a red head and this crazy zebra stripped pattern on their back.
